Self-Abandonment Is the Worst Kind
When we live in alignment with our thoughts and actions, we build trust in ourselves and build our self-esteem by saying and doing what is important to us and having them match. Even if that means people turning their backs on us, even when it means friends and people falling away.
While this can feel incredibly lonely and hurtful, you realize you are never, ever alone, because God is always there by your side. And He 💯 has your back.
When you go along with the crowd because you don’t like conflict, or swallow your words because it’s easier than disagreeing, and you allow people to make assumptions about you out of fear of abandonment, you abandon yourself.
Happiness and freedom exist when what you believe and how you live is in alignment, without censorship, without hiding, without apology.
