Meet Brian

This is my new friend Brian. I met him at a gas station in New Haven.
What a bright light he is. Brian is eager to work, but has had a hard time getting a job being homeless and not being able to shower, shave, and have transportation. Things that we so easily take for granted.

The reason Brian lost his apartment is because he got hit by a car riding his bike to work one day. He was disabled and had big medical bills which put him a couple of months behind on rent, and he was evicted. This is how easily a series of unfortunate circumstances beyond someone’s control can put them on a downward spiral.

No one should ever have to sleep on the street. Let’s out our collective heads and hearts together to figure out how to solve the issue of hunger and homlessness so no person ever has to go without basic needs, most importantly a roof over their head and a warm bed to sleep in 🙏

I asked him what he needs and he said a job, as well as blankets and warm clothes. If you have any ideas or would like to donate, please reach out to me. I will be bringing him some stuff early next week.

Thank you 🙏 and please keep Brian and all people without a home in your heart and prayers 💜
